THE ORIGIN

AGE 5-6

THE SPARK

Amanuel Brinton’s racing story began with a single photograph….At five years old, he saw an image of his father riding a small Honda motorbike as a child. When he learned his father had been only four years old in the picture, Amanuel had a simple conclusion. He wanted to ride too. That moment lit a spark that never faded.

Hoping to slow his son’s introduction to motorsport, Amanuel’s father first guided him toward BMX racing. Amanuel thrived, racing competitively and developing balance, racecraft, and fearlessness. Still, one question never stopped coming. When could he add an engine?

After careful research into long-term development pathways, the family made a deliberate choice. Road racing offered the clearest route to the highest level of the sport. At six years old, on his birthday in December 2014, Amanuel attended his first minimoto training session at the Scott Redding Academy in Swindon. His natural speed stood out immediately. Coaches encouraged his family to enter him into national competition, and within months his racing career had begun.

UK YEARS

THE FOUNDATION

In 2015, aged just six, Amanuel made his competitive debut in the British Minimoto Championships. He finished third overall in both the Rookie and main standings, despite being the youngest rider on the grid. It was an early signal of what was to come.
Over the next four seasons in the UK, Amanuel established himself as one of the most consistent young riders in the country. Racing with FAB Racing, he regularly finished on the podium, often competing in multiple classes at the same time. His results were matched by a growing maturity and professionalism well beyond his years.

MOVE TO SPAIN

THE SACRIFICE

In 2019, the family made a defining decision. To reach the top, Amanuel needed to compete against the very best. They relocated to Spain, placing him at the centre of global motorcycle racing development. From the age of ten, Amanuel began racing on full MotoGP circuits, frequently as the youngest competitor on the grid. In his first Spanish season, he finished inside the top ten overall in a field packed with future world-level riders.

Spain accelerated everything. The pace, the pressure, and the standards reshaped his approach. Amanuel absorbed the habits of elite riders. Training intensity increased. Preparation became meticulous. Race weekends became surgical.

Across six seasons, Amanuel progressed through every major development category, including the Spanish Championship and four seasons in the European Talent Cup. Structural changes within the championship system temporarily delayed his upward movement, but his performance level never dipped.

In 2023 and 2024, he competed simultaneously in the European Talent Cup and British Talent Cup. He finished both seasons as the highest-placed British rider in the European Championship. In the British series, he claimed third overall in 2023 and second overall in 2024, narrowly missing the title.

JUNIORGP / STOCK 600

THE FUTURE

In 2025, physically ready and finally eligible, Amanuel made the step to European Stock 600 competition within the JuniorGP World Championship paddock. The transition from lightweight machinery to the Yamaha R6 demanded a complete shift in riding style. Amanuel adapted rapidly, showing race-by-race progression and finishing his debut season 13th overall.
The season’s final round in Valencia delivered a defining moment. Amanuel set the fastest lap ever recorded by a Stock 600 rider at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, emerging as the leading 600cc rider of the event. It was a clear statement of intent.
Still early in his journey, Amanuel Brinton is building momentum at international level. His path has been deliberate, demanding, and uncompromising. The speed is real. The foundation is proven. The trajectory points firmly forward.
